having watched the list for a while, everyone else seems to have said their piece, may aswell throw in another 2c.
+1 for reply to list. id prefer to see stuff going back to the list unless explicitly set otherwise.
purely because im sick of being on lists which are supposedly for a "group" of some sort and all i ever see is problems and no solutions as reply-to-sender does not promote follow ups to the list and ppl are lazy/busy. too often the sender is happy to call upon the experienced list members to sort out their problems and take off-list replies but once satisified themselves don't even offer the "group" a courtesy summary of replies or outline as to what the problem resolution was etc.
not saying that has happened here at all, but all the lists start out with the best intentions and by a core nucleus of experienced members, and progressively over the years, with all the followups going to sender, the list simply becomes more and more sender self-centered and less and less about the group and information sharing amongst the group.
that said, can appreciate if the list was only changed like this 2 months ago and existing members have a prior expectation about the behaviour of the reply in their heads, it wasnt the way it always was per se, so i can see how people are getting caught out.
