I've read the article on the ABC website (

Does anybody know more about what happened?
 
Starting at 1am sounds like a maintenance gone bad.....

	There is currently a major outage in Darwin, affecting voice and
data services pretty much everywhere.
	 
	ISDN down, BDSL down, Frame services down, ADSL down.
	 
	Telstra does not have an ETA at this stage, however the last
update was they are locating replacement hardware.
