[AusNOG] AusNOG 2019 Registration is open

Hi Naveen,

There are a number of facets to consider in regard to the value of AusNOG, and indeed many conferences.

Given I've had the privilege of attending many conferences around the world my observations are that:
- delegates are very much engaged at AusNOG because there isn't a "I'll watch this later" option
- presenters are far more forthcoming and relaxed as little slips of the tongue are not recorded for posterity
- the drive for AusNOG is to get people networking and having discussions at breaks and lunch/dinners, so having them AT AusNOG in physical form.

Cost and time is certainly also one of those things - the preference at this stage is to give a higher preference to the above 3 points.

Hope this clarifies.

Cheers
Terry

Early Bird tickets are limited to 3 per booking to discourage major companies from buying large blocks as has happened in the past.

You must provide the event booking code with your booking to secure the discounted rate. Please see the details on the AusNOG 2019 section of our web site for details.

The programme will be made available via the web site once the Call For Presentations process has ended and the presentations reviewed. More details will be provided via the mailing list when it is available.
