This is actually accurate Sam, it does take 7-10 days depending for an RFO from them.

I’m chasing one from last Tuesday as we speak.

Interesting and thanks all for your responses.

Someone mentioned a fibre cut in a direct email to me - any idea how to get information out of TPG / PIPE quickly?

We're told by our reseller (Tronic Networks) that the timeline for getting any information / reports out of TPG / PIPE is 10 days...

Unsure if related, but there was a major PIPE outage at Equinix SY-1 Friday Night/Saturday morning.

We observed two major outages to our TPG / PIPE services in Port Melbourne, VIC on Friday the 24th.

Was wondering if any other TPG / PIPE / AAPT etc... customers had been impacted?

1. TPG outage observed at 17:56 AEDT - 18:06 AEDT Friday 24/11

Symptoms: Up to 90% packet loss to and from various destinations (Google, Sydney VPSes, Telstra). BGP sessions may have also dropped. No notifications of planned or emergency maintenance.

2. TPG outage observed at 02:25 AEDT - 05:35 AEDT Saturday 25/11

Symptoms: Noticed intermittent internet access again to various locations (Google and international). No notifications of planned or emergency maintenance.

Appeared to resolve itself around 5:35am AEDT with no word from TPG / PIPE.
