[AusNOG] Dell 10Gb 1U High Density Switch

Hi Karl,

We're Dell Certified Partners and I can tell you categorically it's designed/manufactured by Dell, not an OEM.

Reviews and feedback have been extremely positive, probably the main thing it doesn't have is stacking, but if that's not a requirement, it's a great switch. We've been quoting them a lot for use with the Dell Equallogic iSCSI Storage Arrays (also excellent).

Dell do also OEM Brocade (B Series PowerConnect) and Juniper (J Series PowerConnect) but the 62xx and 8024(F) are all theirs.

Cheers,

Jacob

PS Been lurking for a while, first post to the list - so hi everybody :)

Hi Noggers,

Got a bit of a brain ticker here,

Does anyone know if this switch is manufactured by Dell? and if not who is the real manufacture?

Cheers!
