I just wanted to draw your attention to some grants on offer for <br>
organizations working on Internet development in the Asia Pacific. <br>
Projects can range from Internet infrastructure, to research, to <br>
upskilling and helping communities be able to access the Internet. <br>
Grants are between USD 30k and 150k, and there are a wide variety <br>
of organizations that can apply. <br>
<br>
We’ve had some great applications from Australia in previous years, <o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoPlainText">including an interesting project in 2021 connecting a remote Northern
<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoPlainText">Territory community.<br>

Applications close May 15.<o:p></o:p></p>

This year there are also grants for issues related to the <br>

<p class="MsoPlainText"> -Knowledge: Initiatives that develop technical capacity and/or

<p class="MsoPlainText"> research around Internet network operations for technical and

<p class="MsoPlainText">In 2022, ISIF Asia will also include grants across all three programs
<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoPlainText">to support innovative solutions to the environmental impact of the

<p class="MsoPlainText">Internet. The Ian Peter Grants for Internet and the Environment will
<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoPlainText">be made to commemorate the life and work of Ian Peter, Internet pioneer
<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoPlainText">and environmental activist.<o:p></o:p></p>
