Good Afternoon Team
The fs.com sfp do seem to have a higher failure rate. Lucky enough for us Juniper has come out with common optics which are only a little more expensive then fs ones.
We have seen are rather high failure of 850nm optics. You do get what you pay for in the end. My concern is also about the aspects of security of these cheaper modules as you are placing a microcontroller with firmware into a switch.. You would not simply grab a USB key and plug it into your machine without any checks
