Just got off the phone from AAPT still no ETR, had a chat with one of the TPG techs roaming around M1 they are assessing how many cores are affected before they start repairs sounds like it's going to be a long night

Anyone heard of an ETR on the Fibre repairs at NextDC M1?
We heard 4pm but it's now been withdrawn.

we've got a fiber400 service offline in docklands too, been down a couple of hours now.
the TPG faults team were aware of a fault affecting Melbourne at the time i logged it with them

Hi Michael,

This is affecting us in Collins St, CBD

NOC-49446 Sev 2 Multiple Metro Ethernet Switches in Lorimer Street, Port Melbourne Down VIC
NOC-49445 Sev 1 Inter-Capital Transmission Link Down near Port Melbourne, VIC

Fops performed OTDR from Richmond, both Fibre reach 14 km , He is heading to Port Melbourne, ETA 1:45 pm, no ETR.

Looks to be affecting services coming out of NextDC M1.

Lee

Does anyone know anything more about the supposed fibre cut in/near Port Melbourne, affecting AAPT's POP?
