Hi George,
I just had to pay $600 to get NBN connected to my house, due to it being a
sub division.
So $300 ain't bad given in the old days Telstra charged $279 for a new line.
Cheers,
David.

Well this is interesting. A client who has a new house on a new estate
(FTTP) has been told by his RSP (a very big one) that there is a $300
connection fee for NBN to be connected? My son lives on the same estate and
had the FTTP hooked up without a problem. Anyone else heard of such a
goings on?
Cheers
