I saw AT&T using an almost identical unit to this (but Ericsson) about 8 years ago and even with random ugly mounting methods the network (10M+ subs in those days) worked very well. Those units are designed to be in rain and mud without any real issues. It’s hardly “Next generation Broadband”, but that is a separate and well-worn discussion.

 

Luckily in NZ where I live FTTH/gig broadband is now the norm…. sorry, couldn’t resist.
