Hi Nikolas,

Just wanted to let you know that Cumulus Linux has supported BGP add-path TX since version 3.0 (released June 2016):

Kind regards,

Another vote for Bird purely because it supports Add Path while Quagga doesn't (the Cumulus fork supports Add Path Rx only). Not a requirement for everyone, but commonly used for BGP edge applications with route reflection.

- BGP Edge (Quagga) - Bird

- LNS - Any decent Linux LNS yet? - I know it's technically Unix but BSD with MPD is probably the only real option, won't give you L2TS out of the box etc but it's the best option I've seen.

Subject: [AusNOG] Best Linux for....

Hi all,

Just looking for opinions on the best distributions for:

- BGP Edge (Quagga)

- NAT (1-1000 internal users)

- CGNAT (500-10000 users) - should probably be able to do v6 translations as well

- LNS - Any decent Linux LNS yet?

Thanks guys.
