[AusNOG] What are we going to do about IoT (in)security?

I take your point, but we are very clearly going rapidly backwards currently. In the absence of a better strategy, the "informed" speaking up and acting is far superior to our current position. 
I also by no means suggest an Aus only approach is the answer. Industry wide is out only solution. Having said that our silence to date has lead to our current predicament, so I don't hold out enormous hope ...
