I'm a bit late with my thanks but I'd love to say thank you as well, Russell. You've certainly been an extremely valuable person to be able to contact in times of need where the standard support channels fail. So as the others have said, thank you for the couple of times you've helped me over the years also.

Well thanks to the others as well Russell, as Michael says it’s great to see there are still people who can actually help and keep the service there for Telstra.

It seems there are also people who are not lost in the corporate spiel, who just know the job needs to get done or the issue needs to be fixed without all the helpdesks and rig moral that goes on in official land.

Keep up the good work all of you and to all of the other “lurkers” on this list who help in the background.

I honestly think Russell’s extraordinary efforts on this list is my last vestige of good service credibility I have for the entire Telstra Enterprise….

From this keyhole perspective you seem to be able to solve any problem anywhere in the corporate infrastructure promptly, and lurk on AusNOG often enough to be nearly always timely.

You are either an actual legend, or an entire team of engineers doing a really good job presenting one personality.
