Soo very true. 

It is unlikely they will ever do it though. In the end it's the public who lose out unless they are connected to a privately owned network with no CVC and AGVC woes. 

On its current trajectory in 2-3 years NBN will be deeper down the sinkhole and private networks will be pushing up the benchmark even more than they do now.
