[AusNOG] ADSL2+ throughput ncrease

Do you know if your Internode plan has the word "reach" in the name. If it does then it it is using a Telstra rented DSLAM port, rather than an Internode one.

If it's Telstra then it is possible they may have turned on one of their "top hats", which is essentially a mini-DSLAM in a node cabinet much closer to you. Hence the better sync speed.
