Re: Brandis and his diary - the irony.
According to a news report today the request to see Brandis’ diary was likened to a metadata request.
He refused the request citing confidentiality – he’d have to get approval of everyone who appears in his diary. Tribunal ruled against him, now he’s thinking if appealing the decision – using taxpayer funds.
The request was for a printout of the weekly view of his Outlook calendar only showing dates/times and person of who he met with. It would not show any content.
*sighes. One rule for the plebeians, a different rule for the people taking public money.

Brandis has just lost an FOI case this morning, so one can assume his staff have been adequately schooled in how it’s supposed to work, eh?
