[AusNOG] TPG link flap - anyone else have this?

On Monday we had a public Internet link flap from us to TPG and
subsequently we failed over to our secondary with another provider.  We're
now kind-of stuck in a Mexican standoff where they're advising we fail back
to the primary, we're asking if it's stable for us to do that (we shut it
down to force the failover), they're saying it is but are confused and/or
cagey as to what informs that belief.

What I'm after with the post, is any other TPG/Pipe customers who had this,
have followed the instruction to fail back, and their results.  As it's a
fairly niche issue and unlikely to be of deep interest to anyone not
directly affected, off-list please.
