6G will be here before the NBN would have rolled fibre out to all homes!
I'm surprised Conroy "red undies on your head" didn't take a look at that as well!

Wow! ....but hang on a minute... didn't Tony Abbot & Co Pty Ltd figure out that Australians will only need (max) 25Mbps for the foreseeable future? If these people in Singapore are given huge 10Gbps straws, isn't there a danger they'll suck up the entire internet and leave nothing for us? OMG!!!

While we struggle in Australia for 100mb NBN, Singapore releases 10Gb residential broadband.

SINGTEL LAUNCHES 10GBPS RESIDENTIAL BROADBAND
Singtel has unveiled a 10Gbps broadband service for residential users, which it plans to launch this month. The service leverages a next generation 10GPON platform and is the first of its kind in the Singapore market.
The service is delivered over a fibre connection into the home, but features a router that is also equipped with four 1Gbps ports to connect addition devices.
The service is being offered as part of a S$189/month bundle that includes a 10G optical network router, a wireless dual-band AC router, installation services, a 4G mobile broadband 500MB platform, and for a limited period, a pair of Wi-Fi Mesh devices worth S$240.
The offer comes with a minimum 2-year contract period.

This is a typical internet plan in Singapore - https://www.singtelshop.com/shop/fibre-broadband/unlimited-fibre.jsf?utm_source=singtel.com&utm_medium=bb_plan&utm_campaign=unlimitedFibre
SG$50 unlimited broadband on 1Gb fibre.
SG$50 = AU$50 (almost 1:1) at the moment.
