Then they should use a VPN within their country which has to follow its own federal laws on privacy and user data? Germanny for example doesn't have to follow our privacy laws...right?
Let's be honest, anyone with an 'offshore VPN' so to speak is only using it to cheat geoblocking, which I have no objections to...

Lots of people with privacy concerns couldn’t hit the site with a VPN due to the international route blocking.
