This is interesting news indeed.
It does make sense given that M2 had a lot of business interests in 
Australia and NZ.
Plus through the Iprimus brand they already had data centre 
infrastructure in place.
Plus they recently did a deal to get access to the entire NBN network 
throughout Australia, and they are looking at growing the wholesale side 
of the business.
A lot of huge deals being done in the hosting and ISP industries of late.
