Yes or use an enterprise grade spam filter such as Ironport, though I am 
probably preaching to the converted by mentioning that as most providers 
are using that already.
Its a good tool and blocks the majority of spam, though it does miss the 
odd bit of spam that comes through, I have been getting the odd bank 
email lately.
