[AusNOG] SDN mega-event in Sydney Mon 14 Dec

For those of you interested in Software Defined Networking (SDN):

We are pleased to announce the SDN end-of-year mega-event, the ONF's regional community building symposium, to be held in Sydney on Monday 14 Dec. Event information is at: http://opentechoz.org<http://opentechoz.org/>/

Speakers will include the Director of the ONF, and high-level executives from Optus, Telstra, Megaport, IIX, ESNet, AARNet, NoviFlow, Coevolve, Ericsson, and NorthBoundNetworks.

The day will provide an excellent overview of the SDN activities in the Australia/NewZealand region, and how it ties with the greater SDN ecosystem world-wide. Registration fee for the all-day event is very nominal ($80 per-head).

In the evening, the event will be followed by a four-hour harbour cruise, providing excellent opportunity for networking with peers while enjoying drinks and dinner, at a heavily subsided rate ($40 per-head).
