Technology entrepreneur Bevan Slattery is presenting his fifth initial
public offering to fund managers this week; connectivity business Megaport.

Sources said Brisbane broker Morgans introduced the deal to its network on
Monday morning, while Slattery had teed up meetings with a number of fund
managers for later in the week.

Megaport is seeking to sell 20 million shares at $1.25 each and list with
an $87.5 million market capitalisation on December 17.

Slattery is expected to line up as Megaport's executive chairman and
biggest investor, with a 47 per cent stake.

The company is expected to lodge a prospectus with the Australian
Securities and Investments Commission on Friday.

Slattery has built a strong following with fund managers and Morgans'
retail investors, thanks to his earlier listing of PIPE Networks, NextDC,
Asia Pacific Data Centres and Superloop.



It's understood Megaport will be pitched as a business with about 200
customers in Australia and at a breakeven financial position.

The company is run by former Microsoft and Limelight Networks executive
Denver Maddux, who also has about a 5 per cent stake in Megaport.
