Which basically indicated that you don't understand. There is flag
day. There is no state change. There is a addition of a parallel
service and eventually removal of a legacy service.
Additionally how do you account for Comcast enable IPv4+IPv6 for
their entire customer base (residential done, business in progress).
IPv4 only -> dual stack -> IPv6 only
Now "dual stack" includes but is not limited to:
a) IPv4 Native + IPv6 Native
b) IPv4 Native + IPv6 Tunneled (6to4, 6in4, 6rd)
c) IPv4 CGN + IPv6 Tunneled (6rd)
d) IPv4 CGN + IPv6 Native
e) IPv4 Tunneled + IPv6 Native (DS-Lite - Being deployed by ISPs in Europe and Asia)
f) IPv4 Translated + IPv6 Native (DNS64/NAT64,
464xlat - lots of mobile networks do this).
6to4 and 6in4 are deployable by individuals without the co-operation
of their ISP though ISPs can make these work better.
