Have you asked Micron21 we ordered dark fibre capacity into Equinix ME1 and only paying $300.00 per month check it out http://melbournedarkfibre.com/
The other option which would cost almost nothing to operate would be 5.8ghz wireless technology, Westside Avenue is very close to Equinix ME1 a pair of Ubiquiti  Nano M5's would be perfect if you can arrange roof access.
