Hi Matt,

Megaport have an option similar to AIX for peering in Sydney via a Melbourne Megaport, you can order this via the portal and the charge is only a few hundred to peer in Sydney, very reasonable on both exchanges.

Hello,

I am exploring peering options for traffic such as Netflix, abc iview and other video streaming services and I am noticing being in Victoria my options seem to be more limited.

I was wondering what others who are victorian based are doing to peer as it seems a lot of these are peered to sydney based exchanges but the melbourne based exchanges don't.

AIX - I can peer with melbourne then they can connect me to sydney for an extra fee

Megaport - I can see netflix is in sydney but not melbourne, abc is however in melbourne.
