[AusNOG] Interesting article regarding lack of investment in Aussie Technology

You dont invest in an overseas market with a currency that is expensive
and that is now down trending against USD unless you like to lose cash.

That is why the asx is where it is.

The problem with aws is you pay in usd. So if you priced your model 6
months ago, well done your now paying 30% more.
