Political parties seem to be exempt from the rules as long as the email 
has name, logo and contact details of the sender and an unsubscribe 
facility:

However, from your email it sounds like they may not be meeting the 
unsubscribe requirement. If this is the case, then ACMA might be interested.

I'd suggest referring them to the AEC if they're violating those rules, 
as they have pointier sticks. You're also more likely to get an idea on 
the progress of your complaint.
