I think because Equinix ME1 is the latest and newest datacenter in
Melbourne you will see most major network providers in time establish a
network here, as everyone likes being in a new datacenter with everyone
else.
Micron21 are offering cheap dark fibre for $300.00 per month
http://melbournedarkfibre.com/ which should make choosing ME1 an easy
choice compared to M2
