Labor is going to support the bill, with some minor changes apparently.

I note the part about "The information will also be restricted to use in
criminal cases. But the Attorney-General can allow its use in civil
proceedings at his discretion" 

...and given Brandis is the Minister for Hollywood, thats a guaranteed
certainty.
