This sounds similar to NBN pricing here in Australia, and since UFB is the NZ equivalent to the NBN, that doesn’t surprise me.

Does the NZ UFB have the stupid CVC costs like we have here in the Australian NBN? Because the higher speeds beyond 100Mbps are not viable here in AU because of the stupid CVC costs.

We have a client who went direct with TPG for a 400/400MBit - Unlimited Fibre installed for $400/month.

The premise has existing fibre supplied by AAPT, but even still I thought it was incredibly cheap... Perhaps a sign of things to come?
