Yes I see the same issue.

Testing from RIPE Atlas shows that quite a few other people cannot also 
resolve it: https://atlas.ripe.net/measurements/3061631/#!probes

The response I got from them is that the "correct" whois server is 
whois.ausregistry.com.au and that whois.audns.net.au is incorrect.
