Dear All,

With the annual AusNOG conference being hosted in Melbourne this year on 27th and 28th of August, it creates a fantastic opportunity for AusNOG thrill seekers to join us for our third annual Melbourne AusNOG go-karting session at Auscarts Indoor Racing.

If you can arrange to arrive in Melbourne a day early to attend this event, I'd highly recommend it. I have arranged a booking for Tuesday the 25th of August starting from 6pm and increased the Grand Final prize this year to hopefully entice more interstate visitors joining us on a fantastic night of entertainment before the conference starts. We have also managed to book the entire venue exclusive for AusNOG community.

Grand Final Prizes

First Prize:
AusNOG Trophy
$1000 Prize Money
12 months Network Services Prize*

Second Prize:
$500 Prize Money
6 months Network Services Prize *

Third Prize:
$100 Prize Money
3 months Network Services Prize *

* Network Services prize of your choice, Micron21 Network DDoS Protection, ME1 to M1 Dark Fibre or 1RU Co Location Bundle Service

Due to how popular the event has been for the last two years, booking is mandatory, with limited positions available. If you're interested in coming, please book in advance by letting me know ASAP!

I guarantee if you come you will have an absolutely amazing time, with adrenaline rushing action, and meet some brilliant AusNOG people in a relaxed environment!
For everyone new to AusNOG, photos from previous events can be found here:

http://www.micron21.com/ausnog-go-kart/
http://www.micron21.com/ausnog-go-karts-2014.php

We have access to the entire venue room from 6pm onwards and racing will start at roughly 7:30pm, giving plenty of time for people to arrive after work, have some eye fillet steak (on us of course), eat some food and then race all night!
I've talked to Auscarts and made a booking for 30+ people. So please if you're interested let know ASAP so I can book you in and reserve your position for the event!

How to book a position:
Email me (james.braunegg at micron21.com<mailto:james.braunegg at micron21.com>) and let me know your name, email address and contact phone number and confirm if you're racing or just coming to the event as a spectator and forward you payment details to secure your position.

Where:
Auscarts Indoor Racing
50 Salmon Street, Port Melbourne 3207
Phone: (03) 9646-6015
Web: www.auscarts.com.au<http://www.auscarts.com.au>

Cost:
$85.00 per person who wants to race- pre paid before the event.
(If you don't want to race, you are more than welcome to still come, eat and network with everyone and watch the mayhem on the track)

When:
Tuesday the 25th of August 2015 starting from 6pm
Arrival/Registration - Meet on the ground level
Racing - Starts from 7:30pm onwards

Food:
Served from 6:30pm to 7:30pm
Micron21 is sponsoring eye fillet steak, lamb and sausages from Di Censo in Doncaster - a high quality butcher shop, plus some salads, we will also arrange drinks and snacks for everyone. I'll need to know how many people are coming however so I can cater for enough people (The food is free same as last year).

Racing:
* Drivers are split into groups and compete separately
*         1 x warm-up/practice per driver consisting of 10 laps per driver
* 1 x race heat of 10 laps per driver
*         1 x semifinal of 10 laps per driver
* 1 x grand finale of 10 laps per driver (You need to earn your position to be in this race with a chance to win a prize)

If we get a large number of drivers we will split the groups into three of four groups and have multiple semifinals which will make the event slightly longer but I'll know this closer to the event.

Get in contact if you have any questions!

Kindest Regards,

James Braunegg
