Nextgen should be able to do Canberra-Melbourne without going through Sydney.

What’s with the rash of people asking about intercapital dark fiber? This is Australia, surely everyone knows you don’t get long-haul dark fiber here unless you bail-out a carrier on the verge of bankruptcy?
