Personally, I would be looking at X-Connect Fabrics... Megaport, IX.A,
Equinix CloudConnect and what Storage providers are available on them.
Don't do with just one... and talk to someone who has encryption and
different costings for the depth (i.e. AWS S3 vs. Glacier).
When you backup, bring up connections to multiple remote (in .au, or OS, or
whatever you want) suppliers, dump your data, and bring the connection down.
The supplier should be doing their own replication and be able to
restore... but I'd not worry about that and make sure you do your own.
I see this as a VERY popular service in 2015.
Personally I'd like to see EMC, Dell, NetApp and others themselves getting
on the VXC Fabrics.
