Hi all,
Paste some text quote from Gartner report, how do you think about NSFOCUS
Anti-DDoS solution?

NSFOCUS
Market Overview
NSFOCUS was established in 2000 and underwent an IPO in 2014. Its primary
focus around DDoS
is on selling SP and CPE DDoS mitigation appliances. Though NSFOCUS has
offices around the
world and is looking to position itself as an international player, its
current DDoS deployments are
predominantly in Asia.
How This Provider Competes
NSFOCUS' customer base for its DDoS mitigation appliances primarily
consists of ISPs, financial
organizations, and large Internet content providers in its domestic Chinese
market and in the
international market — service providers that wish to establish a DDoS
mitigation scrubbing centre.
>From a technical standpoint, NSFOCUS has good experience in enabling some
very large capacity
DDoS mitigation environments.
The NSFOCUS DDoS mitigation solution has three components, each in an
appliance form factor:
(1) ADS Series — DDoS mitigation appliances;
(2) NTA Appliance— for traffic monitoring and detection;
(3) ADS M — centralized management appliance.
The NTA and centralized management appliance are only recommended for
service provider environments to
offer additional management and monitoring capability at scale. NSFOCUS's
competitive
positioning against competitors like Arbor is driven by its focus on R&D
and technology innovation
as a longstanding player in the network security market. NSFOCUS also
offers a managed security
service for its appliances that are deployed at various customer locations.
NSFOCUS has a strong
opportunity to translate its technology strengths into global market
success by building out an
effective channel and technology partner strategy. It is well poised to
offer its products to the large
enterprise market, but will need to tweak its marketing and support
capabilities in order to convince
customers of its ability to service their needs.
Regards,
Lihong
