[AusNOG] NBN Next Step?

This would all explain my difference in situation - my areas of
concentration are all already completely rolled out, so probably
pre-decision to "Build Drop". Makes sense though, as the majority of
order delays we had was remediation work to get the fibre to the
building (i.e. collapsed Telstra conduit etc).

They've just taken this approach up here in the NT. This typically means the area won't be live yet. The easiest way to find out in my experience is to call an RSP and ask them to check the NBNCo portal. If it says it's not live then you cannot order a service yet.

The next step is to have the internal team come and install the NTD - which as suggested would be by placing an order (if none already done). If order already in progress, the team should show up by themselves, usually same day but could be a few days at the worse.
