Waiting for the Linux kernel source to replicate around BBS’s so
there was one close enough to grab cheaply or STD charges or even IDD
charges..

Ahh, the "sysop special" pricing Bill Bolton (Netcomm) offered on the original
Trailblazer PEP (and later V32.bis) modems to upgrade from the old 1234SA.
Being co-ord for several nets meant very hefty STD calls twice a day, the
'blazers reduced call costs significantly!
