[AusNOG] Network Monitoring via Email/SMS

RE: Sms, if you wish to use a email2sms service you can however, if you
want to use a sms dongle / attached gateway / mobile phone, you also can,
and you can use something like gammu (or another sms deamon)

in your commands.cfg just create a notify-by-sms-service and
notify-by-sms-host and it would look something like:

define command {
        command_name                    notify-by-sms-service
        command_line                    echo "$NOTIFICATIONTYPE$ Alert:
$HOSTALIAS$/$SERVICEDESC$ is $SERVICESTATE$\r\n$SERVICEOUTPUT$" |
/usr/local/bin/gammu-smsd-inject -c /usr/local/etc/smsdrc-gw TEXT
$CONTACTPAGER$
}
