Anything that can do IPSec NAT-T shouldn’t have a problem being on private address, as long as you’re connecting back to a static address back at the office.
Here is a guide for Opengear devices connecting back to a Cisco 1700 or ASA, it gives an idea about the configuration on the Cisco side.
