[AusNOG] Bigpond HFC Capacity

Hey all,

Ignoring the local segment capacity of a Bigpond/Foxtel network, I am
wondering what an individual dwellings cabled capacity is.

Meaning... How many 100mb Bigpond services, Foxtel services could one
household have and function at full capacity?

I have 2 x 100mb Bigpond Extreme services at my house and they both seem to
work fine, even simultaneously... but I have a friend asking about the
same, but they also want to have two Foxtel IQ boxes running at the same
time in same house.

So, it got me wondering how many 'services', whether Bigpond or Foxtel a
single household could handle.

Again, I am not commenting on the local area segment capacity which is
shared... I am talking about the single entry into the household.

Thanks :)
