[AusNOG] So are iiNet condoning illegal piracy?

It’s not about piracy; it’s about freedom of speech, protection of privacy and the very slippery slope concerning an individual’s rights.

These changes they are opposing go much further than just “preventing piracy” and its concerning not just for what they are doing now, but what it could allow later….

By opposing legislation that outlaws criminal activity (intellectual property theft) are iiNet giving a tacit nod to illegal activities? ISP's and carriers are not liable for the behaviour of their clients. iiNet should stick to providing shareholder value and ensuring system availability.
It's called "Rule of Law".
