[AusNOG] Telstra LNS issue

One of the Telstra guys responded to my post almost immediately and is looking into it. (so happy!)

I am sure you know how good it is to have a Telecommunications community to discuss this stuff with. Loving AusNOG today.

But yes, this sounds like it is on the right track as the numbers are smallish, all disconnected at the same time and in the same region (Newcastle) but not the same exchange. Another provider messaged me with the same thing and theirs also disconnected at the same time as ours.

If you are able and have DSL tails in the Newcastle region, check for disconnects at 2:37am today. Because the numbers are relatively small they might all be stuck at level 1 support.

It is worth mentioning that we had an electrical storm up this way between 2am and 3am. My guys assumed they were blown modems (or exchange issues) and then standard no-auth faults which is why it took so long for it to get this far.

Kind Regards,
Michael.
