I’ve been talking with a number of people over the last few weeks and everyone keeps asking when is the next Melbourne AusNOG Go Kart session, as it’s been almost a year since the last one.

So here it is.  Friday the 26th of August 2014 starting from 6pm.

I guarantee if you come you will have an absolute amazing time, along with adrenaline rushing action and meet some brilliant AusNOG people !

I’ve talked to Auscarts and made a booking for 20+ people. So please if you’re interested let know ASAP so I can book you in and reserve your position for the event!

The plan will be exactly the same as last year. We have access to the glass function room from 6pm onwards and racing will start from 7:30pm or so, giving plenty of time for people to arrive after work, have some eye fillet steak and race !

How to book a position:
Email me (james at micron21.com<mailto:james at micron21.com>) and let me know your name, email address and contact phone number and confirm if your racing or just coming to the event as a spectator.

Cost:
$85.00 per person who wants to race, paid directly to Auscarts upon arrival (If you don’t want to race, you are more than welcome to still come and network with everyone and watch the mayhem on the track)

When:
Friday the 26th of August 2014 starting from 6pm
Arrival/Registration  - Meet in the  glass function room on the ground level
Racing - Starts from 7:30pm onwards (registration of groups over 20 people can take 45 min so please don’t be “that” late and arrive around 6pm)

Food:
Micron21 has arranged eye fillet steak the same as last time from Di Censo in Doncaster a high quality butcher shop and we will also bring drinks and snack food for everyone as last year. I’ll need to know how many people are coming however so I can cater for enough people (The food is free same as last year).


Mini Sprint Plus
•         75 min format. Drivers are split into two groups and compete separately
•         1 x warm-up/practice per driver consisting of 10 laps per driver
•         1 x race heat of 10 laps per driver
•         1 x grand finale of 10 laps per driver
•         The winning drivers of the final receive medallions!

If we get more than 30 drivers we might split the groups into three of four groups which will make the event slightly longer but I’ll know this closer to the event.
