Using mod_geoip you could achieve this relatively easily. It isn’t going to be 100%, but like everyone has already pointed you are never going to get 100% accuracy.

- All Aussie visitors to my web app need to get redirected (probably using htaccess) to a different sign up page than all other countries.

e.g.
AU IP detected: http://mywebapp.com/signup  -> redirects to http://mywebapp.com/signup-au
Any other IP: http://mywebapp.com/signup  -> redirects to http://mywebapp.com/signup-rest-of-world

Hi Noggers,

I'm sure someone will have this off the top of their heads. I'm after an authoritative list of Australian IP blocks. Not MaxMind or one of the other sellers of geo data but something more "official" and up-to-date like from APNIC or similar.
