[AusNOG] Village Roadshow confirms Netflix coming to Australia

Netflix don't care about ISP costs so they will inject the packets into the internet wherever they can find suitable fat uncontended bandwidth and the megabit cost is cheapest. That means LA or San Jose unless Telstra and other eyeball networks offer them a cheaper alternative. 

Why be closer to the user? STB has big buffers and processes pause locally.
