All,

There have been several emails promoting commercial services recently.  While the sharing of the commercial details of services is within scope,  direct promotion of your own services is not.  Please refer to the list charter in which it is stated that the list is not a forum for "sales people to sell things".

We appreciate that some such posts were in response to questions from other members however they still need to comply to the list charter.   One such response included almost 900 words of sale material including a link "for the long version".  Just sending the link would have been more appropriate.

Please refrain from spruiking your product or service on the list.  Questions pertaining to your commercial offerings can be handled directly with the person raising the question or back to the list with a request for off-list contact for the details.
