Because it doesn’t work.

Specifically: http://www.potaroo.net/ispcol/2010-12/6to4fail.html figure 5, and the ensuing discussion.

6to4 is a transition method for organizations who can’t be arsed running dual-stack.  If you are in any way serious about the network you operate (for example: because you make money by operating a network?) then 6to4 has no place in your future.
