Have you considered WTI?

Granted, it's right at the top of your price range, but you get a free console server with each PDU purchase! ;-)

Regards,
-Brad.

Subject: [AusNOG] Switch PDU for remote sites

Hi All,

I’m looking around for a 1 RU switch PDU with good telnet/ssh services that doesn’t cost the earth. We’ve been trailing the Aten PN9108 but it’s Telnet daemon is iffy and descriptions for the ports aren’t displayed in terminal. I’ve looked at the Eaton IPC 3601 but it’s price tag is a tad high at $1400+ NZD,

I was wondering if anyone here had any recommendations for a 1 RU unit, 6 ports + , RS232 (not usb) and Ethernet, Simple and solid telnet/ssh. It would be sitting in very remote sites with a OOB uplink so stability is key, Ideally under $1k

Cheers ☺
