Hi

Currently waiting for a tacs call back, thought I would ask the list instead see if anyone has seen this before

2 x 2901 router + ewhic  "r1" "r2"

2 x 3750 switch (stacked)  "sw"

R1
0/0/0 -> R2 trunk
0/0/3 -> sw trunk (sw limits to vlan 100, pvid 1)

R2
0/0/0 -> R1 trunk
0/0/3 -> sw trunk (sw limits to vlan 100, pvid 1)

I have used port costing/priority to set the block on r2 -> sw port not r2 -> r1 ports

On r1 & r2
I have  hsrp
R1 is master
R2 is slave.

My sw complains that is see the mac of r2 show up on the port that connects r1 -> sw and also on the port that connects r2 -> sw (on vlan 100 for both ports)

The HSRP is setup on vlan 100

If I do a sho spanning tree blocked all the vlans are blocked on r2 -> sw2 ... so nothing should be sent here !

Its like HSRP is not listening to stp ....

When I make r2 the master node in hsrp, R1's mac doesn't flip between both ports !
